SYNOPSIS

8mm is a reproductive medium that fundamentally cannot be reproduced, and the filmmaker relates to the medium as through working in sculpture. This piece takes the search for these sculptural elements to its extremes. Edited from differing viewpoints, the film is patched together in sections of a few frames from top to bottom and side to side; a convolvulus and the seashore meet at that very moment light is shone on it.
