In December 2014, Mama Rainbow -a film about six Chinese mothers accepting their gay children -was deleted from Chinese video websites with no explanation. Now the filmmaker, Popo Fan, is on a quest to fight it. Interviews with Popo's lawyer, journalists, activists, and commentators, alternate with the endless laws and regulations to interrogate China's systemic use of censorship.
