SINOPSIS

Phi in cinema refers to the primal error of the eye--the illusion that gives rise to persistence of vision and the fantasy of movement. Perhaps cinema is precisely this: A continuous transgression. Phi is a montage film about the twelve week coexistence of twelve filmmakers within the Left Bank collective.
