SYNOPSIS
Predator ou Le Prédateur au Québec est un film de science-fiction américain de John McTiernan, sorti en 1987. Écrit par les frères Jim et John Thomas, le film raconte l'aventure du major « Dutch » Schaefer (Arnold Schwarzenegger), chef d'une unité paramilitaire d'élite en mission dans la jungle tropicale d'Amérique centrale pour sauver des otages dans un territoire tenu par la guérilla, quand celui-ci est pris en chasse par un Predator (Kevin Peter Hall), une créature humanoïde extraterrestre hostile, redoutable au combat et technologiquement avancée. Predator est écrit en 1984 sous le titre provisoire Hunter. Le tournage se déroule de mars à juin 1986, avec un budget d'environ 15 millions $ et une créature conçue par Stan Winston.
