SYNOPSIS

Singham Returns is a 2014 Indian Hindi-language action film co-written and directed by Rohit Shetty and produced by Ajay Devgn FFilms, Reliance Entertainment and Rohit Shetty Picturez. It serves as a sequel to the 2011 film Singham and the second installment in Shetty's Cop Universe. Ajay Devgn reprises his role as Bajirao Singham, while Kareena Kapoor Khan plays the female lead, replacing Kajal Aggarwal. The film was released theatrically worldwide on 15 August 2014, during India's Independence Day. Upon release, it broke several opening day records.
